Knitting:
I’ve started a new scarf, and I’m loving it. It’s simple, and it’s my first project dealing with increases. It’s the Not Quite Straight scarf by Nicole Hindes. Here it is so far, and I’m using a needle size up, because I wanted it to go fast. It’s just a scarf so gauge isn’t important to me.
Party:
My mother, kids and I went to a friend’s Christmas party tonight so that Logan could see Santa this year. We didn’t feel like dealing with the mall crowds, so this is a great and more personalized way for Logan to see him. It makes Christmas so special just to see the glee on his face when he saw Santa tonight. He was the first one to get a present, and he had no hesitations about sitting on Santa’s lap. 
Owen, however, is at the “separation anxiety” stage right now, and didn’t want anything to do with Santa. lol…. but he did like the present he got!
how cool! i never thought about inviting santa to a christmas party. that’s neat. mental note.
That is one awesome idea!
We’ve never done the Santa thing at the mall…but a party where Santa makes a stop..AWESOME!
