Knitting:
I’ve been doing really well on my knitting lately, I’m almost done with that v-neck pullover that’s taking me FOREVER. The only thing is that the seaming is looking like it’s going to be hard for me to handle…. since I’ve never seamed anything before. I’m going to wind up asking for help.
The Cobblestone Pullover is looking great so far. I LOVE the yarn that I’m using with, I just hope Donny likes it too.
Crochet:
I bought a 19mm size “S” hook the other day from this man. As S t a c i would call it a “jumbotron” hook. I got it so that teaching the crochet classes will go a lot smoother than they have been. With this huge hook, everyone will be able to see what I’m doing at the front, and I won’t have to go around to each person to show them every little step. I’m really excited about using it, too. It’s handmade and beautifully finished. It’s not grabby at all, and feels wonderful in my hand. I plan on buying some more needles and hooks from the man who made the hook.
I’m in the process of making my first lesson plan!! The assignment theme is based on safety, so I chose to cover Police officers. It’s actually pretty cute and I’m quite proud of myself. I’ll probably post it somewhere on here once I’ve finished it.
Lots of projects going on, but I’m really enjoying it.
